Cottonwood House is a fully functioning farm with horses, chickens, rabbits, and sheep on site. Our horse-drawn farming equipment is also used to establish and maintain fields of grain, corn and potatoes. Children are able to interact with the farm animals, and at times, even help with their feeding and care. The site features a variety of original and antique farming equipment for guests to explore and learn about previous techniques or reminisce about the good old days of farming.
